I am impressed with the fit and finish of this revolver. It feels great in my hand and draws slick from the holster. Would recommend to anyone looking for a single action pistol.

Just got the nickel plated 7.5” 45 Colt version of the Bounty Hunter. It’s very well made and shoots to point of aim with Grizzly 265 grain lead flat nose ammo . This is not a plus P load . Love this revolver.

I recently purchased two Bounty Hunters; a .45 LC, 7.5″ barrel, blued finish and a .22lr/.22mag, 6.75″ barrel, nickel finish. I shot 50 rounds of Freedom Munition’s 255 grain FP .45LC ammo and 80 rounds of Winchester’s 36 grain plated hollow point .22lr at the outdoor range interchangeably on the same day. The .45LC is very similar in quality and accuracy to my Ruger New Model Blackhawk .45LC. The .45LC Bounty Hunter is a very nice revolver to spend hours at an outdoor range. The .22lr/.22mag Bounty Hunter is especially nice because it a full size, steel revolver. There’s no substitute for steel. The nickel plating is also very nice. Both revolvers were quite accurate from about 60 feet and closer for their first time out.

I just purchased a Bounty Hunter in 22 LR/ 22 Mag. It’s a 6.5” Nickel model. I was really surprised by not only the fit and finish but also the weight of the gun and the strong and crisp action. This is a full size single action that has a Very nice lockup! It’s hammerless with a transfer bar. The lockup is tight and on time and trigger is stiff with little creep but a nice clean break. I just took it out this week and it was great shooting. I shot only 100 round of 22 mag and about a handful of 22 lr. All in all I’m pleasantly surprised by this gun. It’s a keeper for sure!

This fine revolver has a HAMMER TRANSFER SAFETY BAR like the Ruger revolvers which allows for complete safety when carrying hammer down on a full cylinder. Yes, this is a full size revolver for a 22lr/22mag but it is a well crafted accurate revolver. I h@ve had mine for eight years now and its a lifelong keeper.

Excellence in workmanship, fit and finish. Easily on par or better than Ruger with an even heavier action. I rotate and fast draw this beautiful but hefty piece with some effort.
