I’ve owned the Girsan 1911 mc officer’s subcompact for over a year now and have put several rounds thru it. Excellent fit and finish. I would recommend this weapon to everyone.

Got this little toy as my wife calls them because I’ve had tables at gun shows for over forty years all over Texas and owned countless 1911’s but this one stays with me anytime I leave the house. I still own several 1911s it being my favorite pistol of all time. All that being said the Girsan MC 1911 Sc is as fine a pistol as I’ve ever owned, shot or carried. I handles like it belongs in your hand and it’s not just me I have several friends that have shot it and two are now owners of their own so they can leave mine alone at the range.
If you read this many reviews you probably already own one and if not you should. It wont be long before another and my wife has shown interest in having one replacing her Sig 9mm and purse packer, as I call it.
To me 5 stars doesn’t quite hit the mark for this one.

As a gun connoisseur i would highly reccommend this amazing gun. I’ve been around guns my entire life and let me tell you this Girsan is the best gun i have ever fired. You can just feel how smooth the bullet is when it comes out. Someone mentioned horse shooting. This gun was made for horse shooting. i’d pay double no three times the price for this gun

I’ve have had for over a year now. Close to a 1,000 rounds. Some steel but mostly brass. Really a point and shoot sub compact 1911. With smooth crisp trigger. Because of that it my go to EDC. Definitely recommend

I purchased the Girsan MC1911SC 9mm officer with the 3.4″ barrel. It is miniature of the 45. It will be my EDC….being 5’7″ tall makes a full size 1911 is too big for me to carry concealed. I have arthritis in both thumbs and find the recoil spring hard to bring the pistol into battery. I can’t find what the poundage rating for the stock spring or if there lower poundage springs available ( I believe it is around 20 pounds or more). I don’t need the high poundage; I don’t plan on shooting P+ ammo. Even with this pistol’s challenges for me, I think I made a good choice for CCW.

I have owned over 30 1911 45 pistols. 14 kimbers, Les Bare, Sig, S&W , and many other.. I purchased this Girsan Officers 45 cheaper than any other. WOW did I get a deal .I have put over 500 rds of all dif type bullets. Round nose. Hp, Flat point ect. All except one of the first 3 that didnt eject properly fired and fed. This is one of the tightest 45 1911 I have ever seen. It just works and is super accurate .All of my 1911 friends are impressed with the fit and finish .I would recommend this Girsan to anyone wgo wants a carry pistol. The frame and slide are machined NOT MiM parts. That is a real plus. A super tough gun for a super tough job. You can bet your life on this Girsan 45. For the price it is the best gun out there.

Great for horse fighting. Excellent firearm. It makes me shoot ropes all over my face. Fit and finish is great and is salty man gravy.

I was kinda iffy on a polymer frame 1911. That being said I like this one. Shoots well so far but have only fired a couple of mags through it. it is very good. could not miss with it at 10 yards. feels great and looks great. Very stiff and will need some breaking in. Will let you know more after I put some more rounds through it.

Excellent!
