I’m a licensed class1 dealer, gunsmith, and over 50-year competitive shooter. I started out with selling girsan handguns, and decided to take a new regard for a test ride… I kept it!
Again, with a 1911, then another 1911, and then again with a MC-9!
The quality of any girsan I’ve sold or own is excellent, granted the 1911’s aren’t Cabot arms, but they compete with my Kimber Pro Carry and Target II.
The regard blows my Beretta M9 out of the water.
The fastest way I can sell a girsan is to let someone shoot mine, then tell them how much it costs.
Thanks for a truly excellent quality firearm at a great price.

Finally got a chance to put some rounds down range. I was very pleased with performance, from chambering to shell extraction. No feed issues…and ate steel jacket ammo (beggars can’t be choosers) flawlessly. The only issue was with the red dot, I replaced it with the rear sight as soon as I could. It was pretty useless. I plan on getting a better quality red dot. Other than that, no complaints and didn’t break the bank.

I wanted to get a 1911 for some time now, and experience something other than my Glocks & Beretta’s. I did plenty of research online & at my local gun shops, and the Girsan MC1911S was an excellent option for me. It has everything guns costing 2 or 3 times its MSRP, and I picked this one up for right around $500. It’s a beautiful looking firearm, that shoots excellent right out of the box. I love that it has a built in rail & it’s very upgradable. If you’re looking for a 1911 that won’t break the bank, then this gun is for you!
